Batomon Showdown Platform Status: Mobile, Console and Saves
Batomon Showdown is only on Steam for Windows and Google Play for Android. iOS is still in App Store review, and there is no PlayStation, Xbox or Switch listing.
Batomon Showdown is playable in two places right now: Steam for Windows and Google Play for Android, both launched on 15 September 2026.
There is no macOS or Linux build. There is no PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch version either, and searching those stores returns nothing. The iOS build has been in progress, but at launch it was still stuck in App Store review with no date attached.
The good news is that one account carries one save, so progress you make on desktop continues on your phone, and the other way round.
What is live
Windows goes through the Steam store page, Android through Google Play, and both arrived the same day as the Steam release.
The desktop system requirements and technical details are on the Steam build page.
What does not exist yet
iOS has the most concrete status. On 31 August 2026 the developer said they were trying to get iOS out alongside Steam, but App Store review threw up problems and they could not guarantee it would make launch. It is still coming, but without a date.
For macOS and Linux, the Steam store page lists Windows 10 only, and the developer has never committed publicly to either platform.
PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch have no store listings for this game, and no announcement has ever mentioned console plans.
One thing worth flagging: searching batomon showdown switch regularly returns Shogun Showdown, a completely different game. Batomon Showdown has no Switch version.
One account, one save
The 1.0.0 announcement describes the Android build as “playable on the same account as your PC runs”, meaning one account and one save. In practice it works in both directions: mobile progress shows up on PC, and PC progress shows up on mobile.
Whether you have to buy it separately per platform was not addressed. In the community, one player who tested the mobile build said they had to buy it twice. That is a player report rather than an official statement, so check the licence scope on the Google Play listing before you buy.
How the mobile build differs from Steam
The rules and content are the same, and progress carries across. The differences sit elsewhere.
Controls and settings differ. 1.0.0 rebuilt the settings menu separately for mobile to suit touch input.
Performance and interface density differ. Late-game fights that stack a lot of effects are easier to read on desktop; the mobile build’s advantage is being able to play a run whenever you have a few minutes.
Purchasing differs, as covered above.
What to do depending on your device
Phone only: install from Google Play. Note that this is the mobile build, with its own controls and settings layout.
Windows PC only: go through Steam, and check the requirements first on the Steam build page.
Console or Mac only: waiting is currently the only option. All that can be confirmed is that iOS is in progress; nothing else has even been announced.
Verifying availability yourself
Open the relevant store and search for Batomon Showdown. If nothing comes back, it is not there, whatever a third-party download site or an aggregator page claims.
When searching a console store, be careful not to mistake a similarly named game such as Shogun Showdown for a console version of this one.
