Batomon Showdown released on 15 September 2026, with Steam (Windows) and Google Play (Android) going live on the same day and sharing one account and save.

This is 1.0.0, not a demo with a new label. A new region, more than 50 new Batomon, six new trainers, over 30 new trinkets, two new events, ranked seasons and the Android release all landed in this version. The free demo came down the day before, on 14 September, together with Season 0.

What 1.0.0 added

All of the following comes from the developer’s launch announcement on 15 September.

  • The Jinto region, with more than 50 new Batomon
  • Six new trainers: Twins, Gentleman, Painter, Burglar, Scavenger and Black Belt
  • More than 30 new trinkets
  • Two new events: Traveling Merchant and Fossil Discovery
  • Ranked seasons, with a season ending in a hard reset to Bronze 8
  • Badge case skins
  • An Android release sharing the same account as PC
  • Five added languages: French, Italian, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish

Only three balance changes

The numeric changes in 1.0.0 are fewer than most people expected. There are three.

Base team HP increases from day 10 onward. The developer’s reason is direct: late fights were regularly ending in under two seconds, too fast for anyone to read what happened.

A level 4 Batomon now resells at its level 3 price, which removes the old arbitrage of pushing to level 4 and selling.

Geminiss moves from a 10.0 second cooldown to 12.0 seconds, offsetting the health change above.

Because the Jinto region changes the shop pool, conclusions about what was strong before 1.0 need re-testing rather than copying across.

The quality-of-life list is much longer

Three numbers changed, but a great deal of interface work landed. The most useful parts for new players:

Right-clicking any Batomon in the shop, in battle, on an event screen or in the Batopedia opens an inspect sheet with full stats, its ability and its evolution chain. The main menu gained a Patch Notes screen, so you no longer have to dig through store announcements, and a Run History screen recording who you fought, how long it took and what each Batomon did.

The Batopedia can filter by type or rarity and gained a ”???” tab for event Batomon and Mythicals. Settings gained Hide Usernames, which announces trainers by class instead of display name.

Start-of-battle effects now animate one at a time instead of resolving all at once, which makes late boards far easier to read. Cooldown Speed and Income became keywords with descriptions, so hovering shows what your current value actually gives you. The tutorial was rebuilt, and the mobile build got its own settings layout for touch.

If you still see demo download pages in search results, they point either at a retired product that no longer opens or at third-party mirrors. Download and install covers the legitimate routes.

Checking which build you are on

The quickest check is the Patch Notes screen on the main menu, which shows your current patch. The Run History format is new-build too. The inspect sheet is the most direct test: if right-clicking a Batomon does nothing, you are on an older build.

Getting started on this build

  1. Buy and install from Steam or Google Play. Prices and the discount window are on the price page.
  2. Follow the beginner guide through your first run and aim for 10 wins.
  3. That unlocks Ranked, covered in ranked and seasons.
  4. To keep a finished team going, see Extended Mode.
